SIX races in the 2026 Trail Mix Series are complete – there is ONE race left!

We are looking forward to seeing you at Raven Rocks Run on Sunday November 8th as the Trail Mix Series continues this fall.

Three Runners Have Completed All Six Events

Before we get to standings we want to recognize these three runners who finished all of the races to date in the Trail Mix Series.

Completing six trail races across seven months takes dedication, particularly when the series includes everything from shorter trail races to a half marathon.

Three runners have completed every Trail Mix event so far:

  • Matthew Beale
  • Andrew Kibbee
  • Justin Pomerenke

All three have also been among the leading competitors in the overall men’s standings.

With Raven Rocks remaining, they have an opportunity to complete a perfect seven-for-seven season. All three runners above are signed up and ready to run the Raven and we are looking forward to seeing them out there!

The REMAINING Trail Mix Series Race is:

New Leaders Emerge as Series Heads Into Raven Rocks Finale

Six races completed, one to go!

The 2026 Trail Mix Series has reached its final stretch, and the standings have undergone some significant changes following Fall Run the Farm at Muscoot Farm.

With 2,056 unique runners participating across the series so far, Trail Mix continues to bring together runners of all ages and abilities at some of the region’s most popular trail races.

Now, with only the Raven Rocks Run 10K remaining on November 8, the competition is narrowing. Just 89 runners—64 men and 25 women—remain mathematically eligible to complete the four races required for the final series standings.

Thirty runners have already completed at least four races and secured their qualification. The remaining eligible runners MUST finish Raven Rocks to reach the four-race minimum.

Men’s Standings: Sullivan Takes the Lead

Eamonn Sullivan has moved into first place following Fall Run the Farm, bringing his four-race total to an impressive 398.57 points out of a possible 400.

Sullivan’s strong showing at Muscoot Farm, where he finished second overall, gives him a narrow lead over Matthew Beale and Ian Stowe.

RankRunnerSeries Points
1Eamonn Sullivan398.57
2Matthew Beale394.56
3Ian Stowe392.81
4Julio Bolivar391.53
5Jake Marold381.47

Beale, who had led the series after five races, remains very much in contention. Having completed five events before Fall Run the Farm, he has demonstrated remarkable consistency throughout the season.

Ian Stowe is also close behind, and the top four men are separated by just over seven points.

With the series counting each runner’s best four scores, a strong performance at Raven Rocks could still change the final order.

Women’s Standings: Felling Surges Into First

The women’s standings have experienced an even more dramatic shakeup.

Lindsey Felling now leads the series with 399.72 points, nearly a perfect four-race score. Her performance at Fall Run the Farm propelled her past the previous leaders.

Natalia Gribova has moved into second place, followed by Erin Dougherty, Maria Ilyukhina, and Ryann Engelbracht.

RankRunnerSeries Points
1Lindsey Felling399.72
2Natalia Gribova383.92
3Erin Dougherty373.54
4Maria Ilyukhina369.41
5Ryann Engelbracht360.43

Felling’s lead is substantial, but there is still plenty of competition for the remaining podium positions.

With Raven Rocks still ahead, runners who have completed four or more events can improve their totals by replacing their lowest scoring race.

The Three-Race Runners: Don’t Count Them Out

One of the most interesting aspects of the Trail Mix scoring system is that runners with only three completed races can still make a major jump in the standings.

They currently have only three scores contributing to their totals. Completing Raven Rocks gives them a fourth score and qualifies them for the final standings.

Based on a hypothetical maximum of 100 points at Raven Rocks, three men and three women with three completed races could reach the current top five.

The leading potential challengers include:

MenMaximum Possible PointsWomenMaximum Possible Points
Daniel Nelson393.14Joelle Reeves397.83
Edmund Dee391.21Samantha Forester393.95
Scott Law386.93Brittany Forgione376.42

The top ten is even more open. Twenty men and thirteen women with three completed races could potentially reach the current top 10 scoring threshold.

These projections assume a perfect 100-point result at Raven Rocks and compare against today’s standings, not the eventual final scores. They demonstrate just how much movement remains possible.

Trail Mix 2026 Age Group Standings: Who’s Leading, Who’s Qualified, and Who Needs One More Race?

The overall men’s and women’s competitions have produced some impressive performances, but there’s another story unfolding within the age-group divisions.

Several division leaders have already secured their eligibility for the final standings. Others are currently in first place but still need to complete Raven Rocks to qualify. And a few age groups may finish the season without any eligible runners.

Here’s a look at where things stand after six races.

Women’s Age Group Leaders

The women’s divisions feature a mix of established leaders and runners who still need one more race to qualify.

Lindsey Felling Leads the Way

Lindsey Felling has put together an extraordinary season, accumulating 399.72 points out of a possible 400.

She leads the women’s 40–49 division and has mathematically secured the women’s overall series championship, even with one race remaining.

Natalia Gribova leads the 30–39 division with 383.92 points, while Ryann Engelbracht tops the 19–29 division with 360.43.

All three have completed the required four races.

Four Women’s Divisions Still Await Qualification

The Junior, 50–59, 60–69, and 70–79 women’s divisions are particularly interesting.

Their current leaders have completed three races, meaning each must finish Raven Rocks to qualify for the final standings.

Samantha Forester leads the Junior division, while Hali Rodriguez, Mea Sgaglio, and Abigail Scudder lead their respective age groups.

The women’s 14–18 division has no runner who can reach the four-race minimum this year, while the 80–99 division has no participants recorded.

Men’s Age Group Leaders

The men’s divisions include several of the series’ highest-scoring competitors, along with two older age groups where the current leaders still need to qualify.

Sullivan, Beale, and Stowe Lead Strong Divisions

Eamonn Sullivan leads the men’s 19–29 division and the overall men’s standings with 398.57 points.

Matthew Beale, who has completed all six races, leads the 40–49 division with 394.56 points.

Ian Stowe leads the 30–39 division with 392.81 points after five races.

William Fraioli tops the 50–59 division, while Levon Bauer leads the Junior division.

All five have already completed the minimum four races.

Men’s 60–69: A Qualification Battle

Bill Bradsell currently leads the men’s 60–69 division with 265.50 points from three races.

However, he must complete Raven Rocks to qualify.

Gregory Barton has already completed four races and currently has 240.37 points, making him the highest-scoring qualified runner in the division.

If Bradsell finishes Raven Rocks, he will add a fourth score and remain a strong contender for the division title.

If he does not finish, he will not qualify for the final standings.

Men’s 70–79: Another Division to Watch

Joe Mokszycki leads the men’s 70–79 division with 263.05 points from three races.

John Kiselak has already qualified with four races and 213.85 points.

As in the 60–69 division, the outcome depends in part on whether the provisional leader completes the finale.

The men’s 14–18 and 80–99 divisions have no runners who can reach the four-race minimum this season.

Six Divisions Have Leaders Who Still Need to Qualify

Across the men’s and women’s age groups, six divisions currently have provisional leaders with only three races completed:

  • Women’s Junior — Samantha Forester
  • Women’s 50–59 — Hali Rodriguez
  • Women’s 60–69 — Mea Sgaglio
  • Women’s 70–79 — Abigail Scudder
  • Men’s 60–69 — Bill Bradsell
  • Men’s 70–79 — Joe Mokszycki

These runners must complete Raven Rocks to remain eligible for the final series standings.

The distinction is important: leading a division after six races does not automatically mean a runner has qualified for the final standings.

Some Age Groups May Have No Final Qualifiers

Three age/gender divisions currently have participants but no runners capable of reaching the four-race requirement:

  • Women’s 14–18
  • Men’s 14–18
  • Men’s 80–99

The women’s 80–99 division has no participants recorded.

These divisions will not have a qualifying series finisher unless the underlying race records are corrected.

Raven Rocks Will Settle the Final Standings

The 2026 Trail Mix Series concludes Sunday, November 8, with the Raven Rocks Run 10K at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation in Cross River, New York.

For runners with three completed races, Raven Rocks is their final chance to become eligible.

For runners who have already completed four or more races, it offers an opportunity to improve their best-four score and move up in the overall or age-group standings.

While Lindsey Felling has mathematically secured the women’s overall championship, many other positions remain undecided.

The final race will determine not only who wins each division, but also which divisions have qualified finishers.

Good luck to everyone taking on Raven Rocks!

Six Races, Six Different Trail Experiences

The 2026 Trail Mix Series has featured a diverse collection of races, distances, and terrain:

RaceDateParticipants
Mudders & GruntersMarch 29101
Leatherman’s LoopApril 261,137
Spring Run the FarmMay 17217
Where the Pavement EndsSeptember 2090
Paine to PainOctober 11637
Fall Run the FarmOctober 25249

Leatherman’s Loop remains the largest race in the series, with 1,137 participants. Paine to Pain follows with 637, while Fall Run the Farm brought another 249 finishers into the mix.

The participation totals reflect the finishers included in the Trail Mix scoring data. Because many runners participate in more than one event, the sum of individual race participation is greater than the 2,056 unique runners counted across the series.

How Trail Mix Scoring Works

Trail Mix rewards both participation and performance.

Each race awards points separately to men and women, with 100 points going to the first male and female finishers and 50 points to the last. Intermediate scores are scaled proportionally by finishing position within each gender.

A runner must complete at least four of the seven races to qualify for the final series standings.

For runners who complete five, six, or seven races, only their four highest race scores count toward the final total.

With just one race remaining, runners with fewer than three completed races can no longer qualify.

Raven Rocks: One Last Chance

The seventh and final race is the Raven Rocks Run 10K, scheduled for Sunday, November 8, at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation in Cross River, New York.

The event marks the 11th running of Raven Rocks and will determine the final Trail Mix Series standings.

For runners with three completed races, Raven Rocks is essential: they must finish to qualify.

For those already qualified, it offers one final opportunity to improve their best-four score, defend a division lead, or move up in the overall standings.

With close competitions, new leaders, and dozens of runners still capable of moving up significantly, the 2026 Trail Mix Series promises an exciting finish.

Good luck to everyone taking on Raven Rocks!
